Suffolk County Council's Locality Fund - Projects supported this year
Provision of laminator for Neighbourhood Scheme co-ordinated by Suffolk Police Crime Reduction Officer. Cost of printing and artwork will be met by Suffolk Police
To provided bouncy castle for Parents Unite for Support and Service in Haverhill. This is a group run by parents of special needs children based at Edmund Hill prison
Provision of 2 lockable filing cabinets for volunteer centre when they move into new accommodation
To improve lighting at the entrance to the New Cangle CP school. Matched funding by the school
Contribution towards security measures at Haverhill Library/Community Education buildings. Libraries to journal £1000 to Community Ed.
To buy a container for equipment storage and shelter from rain. The club are at present renting a container so this will reduce their running costs
To fund cost of Neighbourhood Watch co-ordinator from Haverhill to visit Police HQ. Driver for minibus supplied by Police
To support the creation of a local community radio station for Haverhill. Matched funding from HAVO and room supplied by County Upper School, Haverhill
To provide cladding for boxing club's wooden building and pay for new equipment for the club. Cladding cost £1200 and other equipment £258. Matched funding from donations and labour by club members
Computer equipment to enable Community Liaison Officer to be based in Haverhill.
