The Annual School Test Results
This years annual test results have been released. The figures for Haverhill secondary schools are:

ABSENCE:11.70% authorised (7.2% locally, 7.1% nationally)1.30% unauthorised (1.4% locally, 1.1% nationally)
GCSE/GNVQ PERFORMANCE
153 eligible, 15.70% of whom had special educational needs
34% Achieving 5 or more A* -C grade GCSE (34% in 2003, 30% in 2002)
Samuel Ward Upper School and Technology College
ABSENCE:7% authorised (7.2% locally, 7.1% nationally)1.90% unauthorised (1.4% locally, 1.1% nationally)
