Still Time To Apply For Core Funding
Voluntary organisations in the borough who would like to apply for core funding for 2005/6 as part of St Edmundsbury Borough Council’s grants scheme have until Monday 25 October to send in their application forms.
St Edmundsbury offers financial assistance to a wide range of local organisations to help deliver services, or to help others deliver services, across the borough.
Following a wide ranging consultation exercise, a new grants policy was approved by full council in September and under this new policy all applications will be assessed on how an organisation will contribute to St Edmundsbury’s priorities and the projects’ sustainability.
New grant application packs are available by calling 01284 757065 or by logging onto www.stedmundsbury.gov.uk. These contain a copy of the grant policy, application form, draft funding arrangements, dates of grant panel meetings and details of other organisations which may be able to offer assistance. All existing partner organisations which have received funding in 2004/05 will automatically receive a pack. Applications for project funding will be considered throughout the year.
