Local Election Results

As well as winning the General Election, Labour had good results in the Haverhill local elections. George Hatchell won in the Haverhill South Borough council election beating the Conservative into second place and Lib Dem into third.

In the county council elections Labour took first place and a Consrvative second place to share the two seats. The Lib Dems were far behind.

In the Haverhill East and Kedington seat the Conservatives narrowly won over Labour in second place and again the Lib Dems in third.
